Cottage Gem ~ Min au bord de l'eau

I absolutely loved this little cottage. It’s decorated so cute, has everything you could need and what a fantastic neighborhood. The decor is absolutely charming, it’s very private and quiet, and Laura was very quick to response to my questions and very helpful.Next time I’m in Seattle I will definitely want to stay here again.

We were very pleased with Cottage Gem. It was clean, and had every amenity we needed for a great experience. It was also in an ideal location for what we needed and wanted to see.

My son and I stayed here for the national soccer tournament and it was so delightful! We opted to rent a house instead of the team hotel and it was a great decision! There is a Safeway, a bagel shop and pizza joint all within 5-10 minutes. Super convenient to interstates as well! The home was so quaint and lovely and the owner was super friendly and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed it. There was plenty of on the street parking. My only recommendation would be to install a separate electric a/c unit in the twin bedroom, as it got a little toasty at night. Other than that, we had a fabulous time!

This is a great place to stay if you are going to West Seattle. The place was very clean and the pictures are very accurate. It has a cozy feel yet was very spacious and I never felt like we didn’t have enough space. The location was also perfect as it was close to shops and restaurants and a quick drive to Alki. I would definitely stay here again.

Though listed on VRBO, not what I am used to - someone renting their home when not there. this is def commercial - for example, they charge for every hour of an early check in. That is new to me! Whenever I have asked a hotel - or VRBO etc , it’s always a yes or no. I could understand a surcharge of $25 but $25 an hour? So the place is fine and well-equipped, but as I say, think of it as a hotel room
